Sponsored by the North Carolina NAACP, I've launched www.ncprosecutorialmisconduct.com. We've sent out an email to 1,800 friends of the NC NAACP asking:
Why has prosecutorial misconduct against Black and poor citizens in North Carolina gotten such little notice in the national and NC media? Why have lawyers, prosecutors and political leaders shown so little concern for these grave injustices, ESPECIALLY in comparison to the Duke lacrosse case?
Where are the major network news outfits, 60 Minutes, the national news magazines?
Read and watch videos from the North Carolina NAACP about outrageous examples of Black citizens victimized by either deliberate prosecutorial misconduct or sloppy and unjust treatment. Innocent North Carolina citizens have been jailed without bond or speedy trial, convicted of crimes the preponderance of the evidence indicates they did not commit, sentenced for years, if not decades, before they were freed.
If you are concerned about this double standard, post your comments to our new web site:

If you believe that money and political
power should NOT determine who
receives JUSTICE, it's time to speak out.
