Very good luck with your project. Your blog is the first one I have ever reads. I am retired 65 year old with stable scvhronic conditions but take occasional qulity process manual writing assignments at my home. Years ago (pre mid-life MBA) I volunteered in a nursting home and you are right, many residents would still like to participate in life. An even bigger problem in numbers is helping people who live with help of aides in their own homes, many times alone. Here in Michigan, the homes I have visited relatives in, many times primarily house people with dementia or who were born retarded and are now elderly. Not too many in this group able to make use even of tablet computers. If I find your blog again, will look for future comments about similarly cacooned elders in private homes.
